Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was as a captain and a participant for the Fierce Five team in 2012 team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze in the balance beam. She became an the only American gymnast at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. Her gold medal in the Olympics in 2016 was her second gold in a row for the American team. This made her, and fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. After the 2002 Olympics the gymnast was off for three years from gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in 2 World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly hopes to be a fashion designer and expand her line of Leotards and socks in coming years. She is writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
